There have been various methods of punishing wrongdoing in the past. The gallows can be seen as one of the most severe punishments already in place. The gallows are used for most serious offenders. Execution is prohibited today, but is punishable by life imprisonment.

This is how the gallows are ordered..

The lights in the courtroom are switched off before the sentence is handed down to a convict. After the sentence is handed down,the judge writes the sentence and breaks the tip of the pen. After that no case will be heard again that day.

The hanging is carried out on a date set by the president. Until then the convict is kept in solitary confinement. Taken out of the cell only to exercise in the morning. Imprisoned in a cell near the gallows the day before the day of the execution. Then weighs his weight and fills a sack with sand equal to that weight and examines the gallows. Further allows the prisoner to eat his favorite food. After that allowing the convict to look at his face for the last time in the mirror on the day of the hanging.
